Days after Congress leader Digvijaya Singh got called out for posting abusive words against the Prime Minister, Congress leader Manish Tiwari, too, tweeted an abusive tweet on similar lines:
Twitter users reacted to the same and called out the former Information and Broadcasting Minister for crossing the lines of decent behaviour as a public figure.
Seems like the frustration of being out of power is getting to them.
Twitterati also took digs at the ‘PM follows abusive trolls’ debate.
It also opened up floodgates to jokes.
Earlier this week, Manish Tewari had spread lies about a Christian priest rescued from the captivity of ISIS, and had made personal attacks on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. Predictably, the bulk of mainstream Indian media has not found anything wrong with Tewari’s Twitter antics.
