Congress social media team seems to be aiming for a record in self-goals. Earlier we had reported how their #KnowYourLegacy campaign got them trolled because of their goof-ups. Today, they posted an image paying tributes to Raja Ram Mohan Roy on his “death anniversary”:
Except, they have written the date of death (27th September, 1833) before date of birth (22nd May, 1772) which appears as if he was born on 27th September, 1833 and passed away on 22nd May, 1772 which is just not possible.
Few days back they had carried out another mistake for another leader, Yusuf Meherally, which they eventually deleted. They confused the birth anniversary with death anniversary then:
