Congress leader Shehzad Poonawalla stoops to a new low

Congress leader Shehzad Poonawalla, who is not related to the other famous and respectful Poonawallas, today stooped to a new low in humanity.

In a chilling development, the CBI today said that it was a class 11 student of Ryan International School was arrested for the brutal murder of class 2 student Pradyuman in September this year. The CBI team had apprehended the 16 year old student last night. The CBI, after taking over investigation from Gurugram Police, interrogated the 16 year old on basis of the CCTV footage which allegedly shows him coming out of the bathroom where Pradyuman’s body was found.

However, Congress leader Shehzad Poonawalla, stooped to a new low when he said that CBI apprehending the 16 year old in Pradyuman’s murder is a BJP tactic to ‘divert attention’ from the one year of demonetisation.

He said that whenever Modi government thought ‘they are in trouble’ they get CBI to come and save them.

He went on to say that many mediapersons who might have covered Congress’ protests against demonetisation may now be covering the Pradyuman case updates.

This is the most bizarre insinuation one could come up with.

But that doesn’t really come as a surprise. This is not the first time such self proclaimed fringe leaders have tried to trivialise one issue while pretending to be being worried about them.

Freelance protestor Shehla Rashid claimed that the bullet train was announced as a diversion to Gauri Lankesh’s murder.

She had also claimed that demonetisation was announced to divert attention from the missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmed.

Unfortunate part is that they actually mean and stand by what they said.
