Posters emerge in Delhi proclaiming Kejriwal as messiah of Muslims

AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal who rose to fame as an anti-corruption crusader, joined politics with the promise that, he would be a politician with a difference.

But over time it turned out that AAP really wasn’t a party with a difference, when it was discovered that the party had removed its list of donors from its official website, thereby denting its ‘commitment towards transparency’.

It also started becoming clear that the party was using ‘tried and tested’ methods of winning elections, which included canvassing votes on religious lines by asking Muslims to vote for the party as the ‘community has always ruled over Delhi’. Apart from this it was also alleged that the party was whipping up radical sentiments by flirting with pro-Khalisthan elements during the Punjab elections.

Besides this, Kejriwal in recent days openly tried to create religious discord by giving a venomous speech during school address. Kejriwal in his speech was recorded as saying that, “we stayed quiet when Muslims were killed, when Dalits were burnt, beaten, we stayed quiet”.

This was slammed by a Muslim resident of Delhi, who asserted that he wasn’t Kejriwal’s vote bank.

Now interestingly a few days after Kejriwal’s inflammatory speech it has been discovered that posters have cropped up in the nation’s capital, which proclaim Kejriwal as a messiah of Muslims:

In the posters which contain the pictures of senior AAP leaders like, Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Gopal Rai and Amanatullah Khan; Kerjiwal is proclaimed as the messiah of Muslims, while informing people about his ‘huge’ rally on 4th February at Rajiv Park in Sriram colony.

Rebel AAP leader also tracked down these posters and claimed that they were put up in areas like Khajuri, Bhajanpura, Karawal Nagar and Tukmirpur. As per Mishra, Sriram colony; the venue of the rally, falls under his Assembly constituency and is a Muslim dominated region. He as a result slammed this brand of politics by the AAP.

The BJP has also started to notice these posters, with its Delhi spokesperson Tajinder Bagga stating that Kejriwal can’t hide his government’s shortcomings by creating a Hindu Muslim issue.
