Hindu group expels AAP members for waving sword in front of mosque, accuses them of hatching conspiracy

In a shocking development Sanatan Hindu Yuva Vahini, the organisation which organised the Ram Navami rally in which AAP members are seen wearing saffron robes and waving swords in front of a mosque, has expelled the two AAP members alleging conspiracy. In termination letters accessed by OpIndia, Vishal Singh, District President of Sanatan Hindu Yuva Vahini, has accused Manish Kumar and Nand Lal Kanojia of trying to incite the people present.

Speaking to OpIndia, Pushpendra Mishra of Sanatan Hindu Yuva Vahini said that when they investigated, it was found that the duo instigated the mob to shout slogans. He claimed that they had come with the swords which people are seen waving in the video. An investigation by ABP News has revealed that the two are indeed members of Aam Aadmi Party. Pushpendra Mishra has said that they had no intention of hurting sentiments of the Muslim community and have expressed regret at the incident.

AAP rebel leader Kapil Mishra said that insolation, the incident is not that significant, but when seen in bigger picture, it shows a different scenario. The rally was supposed to pass by that lane. But AAP councillor of that area arranged for refreshments just outside the mosque so that the group stops there, giving them a chance to carry out sloganeering. Mishra claims that AAP has shrugged off the incident and is trying to ignore their people’s involvement in the same. However, if that is so, why was the incident brought up by the Assembly speaker Ram Nivas Goel (as seen in the video) when AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan sought to bring a resolution regarding Ram Navami celebrations.

Mishra had alleged that this is a conspiracy to create communal tension between Hindus and Muslims in Delhi and to discredit Ram Navami festival. This is not the first time Aam Aadmi Party has tried to pay communal and divisive politics. Last year, during the run up to the Bawana bypolls, posters and pamphlets had come up in Delhi which showed an ‘appeal to Muslim brothers’ by Imran Hussain, who is a cabinet minister in the Kejriwal government. The poster appealed to Muslims to vote for AAP, as any division in the votes of the Muslim community could mean a result like that in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, which were swept by the BJP. The pamphlet also said that Muslims can’t be defeated if they voted together.
