IT Raids on the resorts owned by Congress Leaders

The Income Tax Officers Team headed by a Joint Director and 10 other officers raided the Krishna Heritage Resort at 11 pm last night. The KPCC working president S R Patil, MLC C M Ibrahim and others were also present. Siddaramaiah had earlier stayed in the resort when he had campaigned in the constituency recently. These raids are likely to put Siddaramaiah on the back foot as BJP is already raking up the allegation of his nexus with fugitives like Vijay Eshwaran.

CM Siddaramaiah accused BJP and Narendra Modi of doing vendetta politics at the time of elections. Badami constituency is one of the two constituencies that Chief Minister is contesting from. He is contesting from Chamundeshwari constituency of Mysore district where he is facing another heavyweight G T Devegowda from Janatha Dal (Secular).
