The famous actor, producer Farhan Akhtar, today took to Twitter to point out an apparent error made in a West Bengal school textbook which left many on the social networking site in splits of laughter, while few others reacted strongly to the careless error.
According to an image tweeted by Twitter user Lyfe Ghosh, a school textbook in West Bengal has used the image of Farhan Akhtar instead of the sports legend Milkha Singh. Akhtar, who portrayed the role of the Indian athlete in his biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag retweeted the image calling it a ‘glaring error’ urged the West Bengal Education Ministry to recall and replace the book.

This mistake has, however, not been well received by the Twitter users, leaving most of them shocked. Some are calling it a glaring mistake while others a dark comedy.

Some even expressed gratitude to the West Bengal authorities for sparing Nick Jonas the horror of seeing Priyanka Chopra’s image depicted as boxer Mary Kom.

Amongst all this Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP and former Bourvita Quiz Master, Derek O Brien, who has been known for outrightly bashing anyone and everyone for not adhering to his views on Twitter, was quick to respond to Farhan’s’ Tweet, thankfully sparing him from finding his name mentioned in the parliament as an abusive troll for merely expressing his point of view.

Twitterati, amidst all this, still awaits for West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamta Banerjee, to react to this ‘glaring error’.
