Shukla, 36-year-old former IT engineer has been disappointed with the lawmakers as he considers that they have failed to improve the lives of the deprived section and the poor. Shukla says that politicians across political parties are eager to solve people’s issues only during election time to gain votes. He further added that due to lack of intent for development from the politicians, he decided to step in and contest elections to solve the problems of common masses.

Speaking to ANI, Sandeep with the help of an interpreter said, “It is sad that women are being raped even in cities like Delhi and Chennai. The politicians have failed to protect the victims and also they are not helping poor and disabled. I have been witnessing all this from the past many years and hence, decided to contest the polls. These leaders only address the problems of people during the election time in order to get the maximum number of votes.”

“I urge you all to please support me. I just need one chance to bring changes. I know many people are afraid that I will be standing against major political parties. I am fighting the battle of truth. I don’t want people to waste their vote by giving it to Bharatiya Janata Party or Congress as both the parties have not done anything substantial for the country,” Shukla added.

Sudeep Shukla has studied MSc in Information and Technology from Alagappa University in Chennai. As per a report in India Today, Sudeep Shukla’s candidature is being supported by the likes of Gyanendra Purohit, who runs an NGO called Anand Service Society to assist the differently-abled people.
