The girl was kidnapped by two perpetrators named Saddam Hussein and Farman Khan, who reportedly have confessed their crimes, near Bettiah railway station on Cant road, late Sunday. The victim was raped for nearly four hours, in a moving car and later abandoned near a petrol pump.

According to reports, the victim was at a tea stall near Bettiah railway station, accompanied by her elder sister, and waiting for the bus to go to their maternal uncle’s house in Mainatand thana area. The victim reportedly was sick and was coming with her sister from Narktiyaganj railway station, where the sisters actually lived.

Meanwhile, according to police, the perpetrators came there and asked the elder sister to sit in the car, to which the girl refused. Following which, the perpetrators forcefully snatched the victim and took her with them in the car, towards Mainatand area.
