It is the second such incident of gangster style murder. On Wednesday evening, Indore businessman Sandeep Agrawal was shot dead on the middle of a busy street.

Prahlad Bandhwar, BJP leader and the chairman of the Mandsaur Municipal Corporation was shot dead last evening by unidentified criminals. As per reports, Bandhwar was shot at in full public view, near BPL square in the city.

Bandhwar’s killers reportedly came on a Royal Enfield motorcycle and shot him at point-blank range. Bandhwar was reportedly standing in front of the district co-operative bank. As Bandhwar fell immediately, panic spread in the area and shopkeepers nearby closed their shutters. Taking advantage of the chaos, the murderers reportedly escaped.

Bandhwar was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in an auto rickshaw but he had already succumbed to his injuries.

As per reports, SL Borsi, the SHO of the Kotwali police station in Mandsaur has stated that the police have obtained a name and search for the assailants is on.

Just a day before, an Indore based businessman named Sandeep Agrawal was shot dead by four shooters at the middle of a crowded street just 50 metres away from a police station. The gangster-style murder on Wednesday evening had also created panic and chaos in the city. Agrawal was a property broker and also owned a media channel.

Former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has condemned the incident and has stated that criminals in Madhya Pradesh have suddenly become bold after the Congress government came to power.

Two days back, thieves had broken into the house of cabinet minister Omkar Singh Markam in Dindori and had fled with money and jewellery worth Rs 12 lakhs.
