Picture of Bollywood artists with Modi ruin the carefully crafted narrative of the Left-Liberal cabal, and they can’t handle it

How can the artists go and meet the PM and praise him when the memo is all about crying intolerance!?

A bunch of Bollywood A-listers shared their picture with Prime Minister Modi yesterday and the Internet cannot handle it. Filmmaker Karan Johar shared an image with PM Modi with a bunch of actors and directors and thanking him for the opportunity to interact with him.

As expected, it did not go down quite well with the “liberal” cabal. After all, just a few weeks back actor Naseeruddin Shah had said intolerance is rising. Instead of returning their Filmfare and National awards, why are these actors posing with the PM instead of crying bloody murder? The usual suspects were upset at the artists for spoiling the narrative.

Some used the word of the season ‘pliable’ without any particular context to sound cool because it is very important to voice out the opinion when intolerance is supposed to rise.

Desperation is so high that even lame ‘jokes’ are now ‘wicked’.

Clearly, people are quite hurt.

Perhaps Kamra could dream about making it big after he grows a spine that he does not delete his ‘jokes’ on Muslims, however, embarrassing they are.

Another picture of Ranveer Singh hugging PM Modi was shared by the actor, which also didn’t go down quite well with those who love to hate.

Above two tweets are referring to the violent protests that erupted during the release of the film Padmaavat last year.

There could be a couple of reasons for this. The films, The Accidental Prime Minister, based on the book of the same name, which takes you through the 10 years of UPA in 2 hours and Uri, a film based on Uri surgical strike released today. A film, Tashkent Files, which deals with the mysterious death of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri is coming up and so is a biopic of PM Modi starring Vivek Oberoi.

The Left-liberal cabal is scared that the movies which remind people of the 10 years of policy paralysis during the UPA and films like Uri based on surgical strike which made every Indian proud will not help them build the ground and narrative for the Congress. That Narendra Modi is looked up to by the film actors whom the youth of the day relate to. That it is not Rahul Gandhi who is the ‘youth icon’.

That Modi, who is portrayed as the one who is against liberal arts, is meeting people from the fraternity who are equally aware of politics. These actors have taken to social media to post their pictures, thanking the Prime Minister, calling him inspiring. The youth, many of whom may vote for the first time in the upcoming elections, is watching them, and perhaps getting influenced by who their hero endorses.

The “liberals” prove themselves to be the most illiberal bunch. They like people as long as they toe their line. The very Karan Johar who was the epitome of liberalism has today become a pliable nincompoop because he dared to go against the prevalent “liberal” political narrative. Just like they abandoned the liberal torchbearers from Bollywood today, they have often displayed their intolerance when a section refused to toe their line. Dalits stop being oppressed the moment they vote for BJP. Women are no longer invited to the liberal feminist party if they support the Prime Minister, after all, how can be forget one journalist’s “Do women supporters open their legs for Modi” comment? The cycle is unending. In the end, all they care about is their political narrative dominating the discussion. Anything that proves to be a hindrance needs to be discredited. And that is exactly what seems to be happening now.
