Your journalists with anti-Modi hatred in their blood can continue with their hatred: PM Modi to CEO at channel launch

Modi hater Vinod Kapri is editor of the channel, and he was present when Modi made the comment

On 30th March, a new Hindi News channel named TV9 Bharatvarsh was launched. This is the latest addition to the TV9 network under the Associated Broadcasting Company Pvt Ltd, which currently has the TV9 Telugu channel. A national conference was organised on the occasion of launch of the channel, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was invited to it. Modi delivered the keynote address at the TV9 Bharatvarsh Conclave.

Now, a video has emerged showing PM Modi talking with executives of the network, where he made such a comment which was totally unexpected for people present there. Talking to TV9 founder and CEO Ravi Prakash, Modi says, “you have filled your new channel with such people who have abuses for me in their blood”. Shocked, Ravi Prakash replies, “we are bringing change in that”. To that, Modi laughs and says “don’t do this, let the poor people live, let it continue as it is. If their soul dies, it will not be fun”. The response of the CEO shows that what Modi said was true, that the channel is indeed filled with people who hate Narendra Modi.

Now the video has gone viral on social media, with various reaction of people. Some people are pointing out how despite knowing that the channel is filled with his haters, PM Modi accepted the invitation. Those people call Modi Hitler, fascist, abuse him daily, and still he went to attend the launch event.

Alert social media users also noted that when PM Modi was making the comment, the channel’s editor Vinod Kapri was present right there, who is known for his hatred for Modi.

It has been speculated that PM Modi’s comments were directed at Kapri, who is a known fan of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, and whose hatred for Modi is out in open through his social media posts.
