On the last day of campaigning for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in his home state, Prime Minister Modi tore into the ‘Mahamilavat’ opposition. Addressing a rally in Patan in Gujarat, Modi said that our armed forces carried out air strikes and these ‘Mahamilavatis’ started asking for a proof of the same.

PM Narendra Modi also said that when Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by Pakistan, he had said to Pakistan that If anything happens to our pilot then we will not leave you. “This terrorism was nurtured by Congress. But I did not become the prime minister to repeat things they had done,” he said.

Speaking at the BJP bastion, PM Narendra Modi said that his government will come back to power by emerging victorious but if the people of Gujarat does not give 26 seats to the BJP, the media will start a discussion on May 23rd asking why did it happen. “I have been moulded by the people of Gujarat. I have never failed you in any of the tests you have put me through,” Modi appealed to the people of Gujarat where he served as the chief minister for 13 years before taking on the national role of prime minister in 2014.

“The duty of the people of my home state to take care of the “son of the soil” and give all 26 seats in Gujarat to me,” said PM Modi.

PM Modi further added that whether the post of Prime Ministership remains or not, he has decided that either he will be alive or terrorists will remain alive.
