Aiyar and Pitroda talking nonsense so that Congress can blame them for defeat in election instead of Rahul Gandhi, suggests PM Modi

Congress is holding serious meetings and discussions to decide how to protect Rahul Gandhi from the blame of defeat, Modi said

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the recent controversial comments by Congress leaders like Sam Pitroda and Mani Shankar Aiyar are not random incidents, but they are carefully planned by the party. The PM said that Congress party is preparing grounds to blame others after it loses the Lok Sabha election, so that the ‘naamdar’ (Rahul Gandhi) can be shielded.

Addressing a rally in Deoghar in Jharkhand, PM Modi said that Congress party has started preparing excuses for the loss it is going to face in the ongoing Lok Sabha election. He said that Congress sensed that it will be defeated the in elections after six phases of the election were over, that’s why Sam Pitroda and Mani Shankar Aiyar have made several controversial comments after the sixth phase, so that their statements can be blamed for the impending defeat.

PM said, ‘Congress is preparing to blame someone after the loss in the election. Exercises are going on in the party to decide what to do to protect the naamdar. Now Congress can’t say that they lost the election due to naamdar, that will against their principle. That’s why you must have seen, after the fifth phase of the elections, two of the closest darbaris of the naamdar family started batting from their side. Else they can’t dare to enter the ground to play the match without taking permission from the captain’.

Referring to Sam Pitroda and Mani Shankar Aiyar without naming them, Modi said, ‘one darbari is the guru of the naamdar, who was fielded on the ground first. He said 1984 riots hua to hua, insulting the feelings of the Sikhs. Despite knowing that this will bring back the old injuries of the Sikhs, the naamdar got his own guru to make this comment. The second batsman was out of the ground after he got out by hit wicket during Gujarat elections. He was hiding behind the curtain after abusing me. He also reached the ground for the last two days, and started abusing me in full flow’.

PM Modi added, ‘Congress is holding serious meetings and discussions to decide how to protect naamdar. Congress does not want to put the blame of defeat on the naamdar. That’s why now there is a procession of people in Congress who want to become a martyr by cutting nails’.

Chairman of Indian Overseas Congress and Rahul Gandhi’s mentor Sam Pitroda had caused huge controversy after he had brushed away the 1984 anti-Sikh riots when he said ’84 mein hua to hua’ (84 happened, so what), responding a question about the massacre. Later he had tried to clarify by saying that he wanted to say ‘jo hua vo bura hua’, but ended up saying ‘hua to hua’ as his Hindi is poor. He had also asked people to move on from the issue of 1984 riots, showing his insensitivity on the issue.

Many people had wondered why Mani Shankar Aiyar was missing from the action during the ongoing elections, but he made a grand entry to the scene by making multiple controversial statements in the last few days. First he justified his ‘neech aadmi’ comment on Narendra Modi in an article published on a portal, then he abused a journalist for asking about the same. He also blamed media for picking only one line from his entire article to criticise him.
