Congress-friendly journalist Pallavi Ghosh calls out her own channel for reporting ‘wrong news’ about the Gandhis

Media outlets had reported that Rahul Gandhi may 'offer' to resign, but the 'offer' was most likely to be not accepted as the party still has faith in his exemplary leadership skills.

Even as the country wonders whether Congress President Rahul Gandhi will take moral responsibility of the party’s poor performance in 2019 Lok Sabha elections, a few media outlets had reported that Rahul Gandhi may offer to step down from the party post.

Media outlets had reported that Rahul Gandhi may ‘offer’ to resign, but the ‘offer’ was most likely to be not accepted as the party still has faith in his exemplary leadership skills. In the meantime, Congress has clarified that no such ‘offer’ has been made by the party president.

Hopping mad with frustration, abusive troll Swati Chaturvedi took to Twitter to vent out her irritation, calling it a ‘comical farce’.

She even went on to add how ‘offer to resign’ as an offer doesn’t quite make sense as people usually resign but don’t offer to do so as if they are obliging by making such an offer.

Congress-friendly journalist Pallavi Ghosh, senior editor with CNNNews18 soon came to her aide and explained how any news of such ‘offers’ are wrong news.

She even added how she is present at the Congress Working Committee meeting that is underway to take stock of the disastrous result.

Swati Chaturvedi then pointed Ghosh to her own news channel which had shared such news. To, that Ghosh clarified that her own channel is indulging in spreading the fake news.

Of course, Swati Chaturvedi explained how soon, nobody would care about either such news, facts or such clarifications.

Meanwhile, the CWC meeting is still on and we shall update our readers with what transpired in the meeting once we know the details.
