Video: Madhya Pradesh farmer exposes the farm loan waiver sham, calls Rs 2 lakh loan waiver a lie

Congress came to power in Madhya Pradesh over promises of farm loan waiver

A Madhya Pradesh farmer confronted Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia in a public meeting in Bhopal, and alleged that farmer loan waiver as promised by the Congress government hasn’t been fulfilled yet.

The video shows the farmer protesting while Scindia is speaking, he complains that his loans haven’t been waived and that the police had raided his house thrice over the due payments of the loan.

Reportedly, the farmer repeatedly tries to speak through the mic amid chants of ‘Jyotiraditya Zindabad’, he was stopped by the Congress leaders and asked to sit down. He tried to speak again when Scindia brought up the issue of loan waiver promise. Scindia assured him that he would get a chance to speak, but the farmer still didn’t get to speak.

The Congress had won the Assembly elections in on Dec 12th, 2018 in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. They’re biggest poll promise was to waive off the loans of the farmers in only 10 days which the Kamal Nath led government is yet to fulfil, in fact, he himself admitted last week that a full loan waiver cannot be achieved in such a short period of time.

The loan waiver scheme appears to be another scam as it has been reported that the government has waived off nonexistent loans. Farmers who had not even taken loans started appearing in the list of debtors whose loans are being waived off by the government.

The Congress governments promise to waive-off farms loans under Jai Kisan Rid Mukhti Yojana has turned out to be a dud, as the false promises of loan-waivers have already claimed three lives.
