Just a day after BJP leader Vijender Gupta and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal were seen together at an iftar party hosted by Delhi govt, Gupta has filed a defamation case against Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia today. The BJP MLA in Delhi has accused the AAP supremo and his deputy of maligning his image after they had alleged that Gupta was part of a conspiracy to kill Kejriwal.

The defamation case was filed after Gupta had sent a legal notice to the AAP leaders asking them to apologise one week ago. “I have filed a defamation case in Patiala House court against them (Kejriwal and Sisodia) as they did not reply to my legal notice,” said the Leader of BJP in Delhi Assembly.
Gupta also tweeted to inform that his matter has been listed to be heard on 6th June at the court of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate judge Samar Vishal.
Gupta has already filed a police complaint against Kejriwal and Sisodia, alleging that they were trying to falsely implicate him in an alleged conspiracy to kill Arvind Kejriwal. During the Lok Sabha polls, the Delhi CM has said in an interview that BJP may get him assassinated by his own bodyguards like former PM Indira Gandhi was killed. Kejriwal had alleged that his personal security officer (PSO) takes orders from Modi.
Reacting to this, Vijender Gupta had said that before Kejriwal was slapped by a person during a roadshow, he had asked the liaison officer to remove the security of his vehicle. He added, “The chief minister’s instruction is registered in the roznamcha (daily report). I had exposed this, hence AAP could not receive electoral gain out of it. So out of frustration, Kejriwal is saying that his PSO reports to the BJP.” Gupta had said this in a press conference, and he posted the same on Twitter with a video of the same.

Responding to this tweet, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had alleged that BJP wants to kill the CM. He had tweeted on May 18 that the tweet of Vijender Gupta proves that BJP is receiving the daily security report of the CM, and on the basis of that BJP is conspiring to kill the CM.
