Kailash Vijayvargiya says he was approached by Digvijay, Scindia to topple Kamal Nath government in MP

Vijayvargiya levied allegations against Congress leaders Jyotiraditya Scindia and Suresh Pachauri also, of approaching him in order to topple the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh

In a shocking admission, BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, while addressing the Kisan Aakrosh Rally (Farmers agitation rally) in Madhya Pradesh, said that he was approached by senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh and asked to bring down Kamal Nath’s government in Madhya Pradesh.

He levied allegations against Congress leaders Jyotiraditya Scindia and Suresh Pachauri also, of approaching him in order to topple the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh.

“Digvijaya Singh and two MLAs approached me and said the Kailash ji the government will fall if you would want. I said I don’t want to bring down the government. Then Scindia ji’s people approached me and said that they want to bring down the government run by a fraudster Kamal Nath. He is a fraudster, they said. We are with you. Then Suresh Pachouri’s people approached me to topple the government,” Kailash Vijayvargiya said during the rally.

He went on to further attack Kamal Nath by calling him a ‘fraudster’, stating that he has let down the people in the state. Kailash Vijayvargiya said that all the OSDs of Kamalnath have a machine to count money.

Vijayvargiya went on to say that Madhya Pradesh has witnessed the maximum number of police transfers. The posts are sold, he alleged, claiming that a police officer in Madhya Pradesh had told him that even after taking a bribe of Rs 25 lakh, Kamal Nath government did not transfer him.

Things have not been going in Congress’ Kamal Nath’s favour after he became the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, post his victory in the Assembly elections that took place in November-December 2018. Congress in Madhya Pradesh, faced the public wrath as they could not fulfil the promise of farm loan waivers to the farmers, the biggest promise on the basis of which the party had fought the Assembly elections.

Moreover, raids had been conducted in April on close associates of the MP CM, Kamal Nath, which had led to the recovery of huge sums of cash. More than 300 IT Income Tax sleuths had conducted raids in 50 locations connected to him.

Post polls, Times Now has reportedly accessed a transcript of a conversation between Nath and his Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Praveen Kakkar that exposed rampant dubious financial transactions, rampant round tripping and even intimidation of government officials to win the Lok Sabha elections.

Kamal Nath had also offered to resign from the post of the party’s state unit chief, taking moral responsibility of the party’s loss in Madhya Pradesh.
