The ugly side of Pakistanis’ ‘humour’: Twitter users trend ‘#PakistanvsNamakharams’ for Afghanistan

If the liberals are still calling the other side of the border as humorous and sportsmanship, we better never have such humour and sportsmanship.

Remember the ‘India wins the match and Pakistan won the twitter’ drama after India Pakistan clash on June 16? How did the Indian liberals tell us to learn humour and sportsmanship from Pakistan?

Well, it all was a myth, the real face of Pakistani fans behind a few humorous tweets has been exposed time and again. And over and above, this was just a game against Afghanistan, who is placed at the bottom of the points table.

The #PakistanvHaramkhor trend was ranked second on Pakistan Twitter trends; such is the hate for their neighbours. All these hate against Afghanistan was started by former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar on his youtube account.

After watching the video, many Pakistani fans started the hashtag Pakistan v Haramkhor and started abusing, degrading the Afghanistan people and fans on Twitter. They even dragged India in between even when India was not playing.

The fans stooped to such a low level that they even dragged the Afghan women fans for their clothing.

If this was not enough, some of them brought Imad’s girlfriend (who is an Afghan) into the picture, showing how ugly they can be as a fan.

The real story is that Imad Wasim cheated on her afghan girlfriend and she exposed him for his fake promises after Imad refused to marry her. Imad Wasim first denied that he knows the woman but later when the Afghan woman shared WhatsApp chat and hotel bills, Imad accepted that he knew the girl.

Imad Wasim adjudged man of the match for his all-round performance in the game against Afghanistan. He took two wickets and made the crucial unbeaten 49 runs for the team.

The fans named and shamed the players. If the liberals are still calling the other side of the border as humorous and sportsmanship, we better never have such humour and sportsmanship. If you want to see more such tweets then login to twitter and just search #PakistanvHaramkhors.
