NCW takes note of women’s sexual harassment complaint against employee of Tiranga TV, Noida police ensures action

The senior producer of Tiranga TV, Suresh Kumar S is being accused of sending lewd messages and sexual harassment of Himanshi despite her protests and calling her incessantly.

The National Commission for Women has taken cognisance of the complaint of sexual harassment that was made by one Himanshi Gupta against a senior producer of Kapil Sibal backed Tiranga TV. After Himanshi took to Twitter to out the Tiranga TV employee, NCW tweeted that they have taken cognisance of the issue.


The NCW also wrote to the police saying that the NCW was seriously perturbed by the lewd messages by the Tiranga TV employee to Himanshi Gupta and the crime targeted against the woman.

The letter urged the police to take action in accordance with sexual harassment and Information Technology Act 2000. The NCW also wrote that the commission should be apprised of the progress in the case.

Noida SSP took to Twitter to respond to NCW letter.


SSP Noida handle confirmed that suitable legal action based on the merits will be ensured and the culprits will be brought to book. The SSP also said that NCW will be apprised of the progress on the case.

After employees were laid off without being given their due and Barkha Dutt lashing out at the channel and the Sibals, now a girl has accused its senior producer of sexual harassment. Himanshi Gupta took to Twitter to make lewd WhatsApp chats public.
