Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh calls MS Dhoni a ‘filth’, blames him for retirement of Rayudu

A few years ago, Yograj had blamed MS Dhoni for Yuvraj Singh's ouster from Indian cricket.

Former Indian pacer and Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh has once again attacked MS Dhoni, this time because of Ambati Rayudu’s sudden retirement.

On July 3, Rayudu announced his retirement from International cricket; the decision came after the selectors ignored Rayuduu for the World Cup squad. He was the back-up player of the original team but was not called after Dhawan and Shanker were ruled out of the World cup due to injury.

As per a report by news agency NNIS, Yograj said, “Rayudu should’ve continued playing, more and more. He should’ve played Ranji Trophy, Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy, scoring 100s, 200s, 300s with not outs. He still has a lot of cricket left in him.”

“Rayudu, my son, you decided in haste. Come out of retirement and show them what you are capable of. People like MS Dhoni will not remain forever, filth like these will not remain forever,” he said.

The attack on Dhoni is a bit amusing as Dhoni has no role in the selection of the Indian cricket team at present, as he is no longer the captain. Rayudu played all the matches in IPL for Chennai Super Kings, the team led by MS Dhoni. In International format, the prime wicket-keeper for India is Rishabh Pant, so had Dhoni retired already, Pant would have been the first choice as a keeper.
