All you need to know: Father wins battle in Texas Court to prevent the mother from medically transforming his son into a girl

Jeff Younger also said that the little boy does not consider himself a girl and violently refuses to be put into dresses in his house.

A judge in Texas, USA has ruled in favour of a father fighting to stop the transition of his son into a girl. Judge Kim Cooks also issued a gag order on the father. Jeff Younger has been battling ex-wife Anne Georgulas in a Dallas family court as part of a bitter custody fight over whether their seven-year-old boy James has gender dysphoria.

The judge ruled that James and his twin brother Jude would remain under a joint managing conservatorship under their parents which means that the father will have a say in the future medical treatment of the children that includes the use of chemicals for a ‘medical transition’.

The decision came a week after a jury gave the managing guardianship of James and twin brother Jude to their mother. As per reports, the mother believes that the boy is a girl and is of the opinion that his gender should be socially affirmed by having him wear dresses, being treated as a girl and being called “Luna”.

The case caused a huge uproar on social media as numerous people saw it as child abuse. A video has now surfaced where the child can be seen saying that his mother told him that he is a girl. The boy also said that his mother made him wear dresses and painted his nails.

The case generated enough outrage on social media for politicians to respond to the matter. People were shocked by the fact that such an atrocity was being perpetrated with the full consent of the judiciary.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said that the matter was being looked into “by the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.”

Matt Krause, a representative in the Texas Legislature, announced that he will introduce legislation to prevent the use of puberty blockers for children under 18. Both, the statement made by the Texan Governor and Krause, received much applause from people on social media.

Ahead of the verdict, Jeff Younger told the Daily Mail, ‘I’m not anticipating a good result for my son. I think I’m not going to be able to stop the social transition of my son, which will probably lead to his medical transition.’

He said, ‘I want you to imagine having electronic communication with you son on FaceTime, and imagine that your ex-wife has dressed him as a drag queen to talk to you. He has false eyelashes and makeup. His hair has got glitter in it. He’s wearing a dress.’

He added, ‘Now imagine how you would feel seeing what I believe is actual sexual abuse – I believe this is not just emotional abuse but is the very, most fundamental form of sexual abuse, tampering with the sexual identity of a vulnerable boy. Every. Single. Day.’

‘You have to see your son sexually abused, and you have to maintain your calm… because the courts are not going to be fair to you. And the only way you can survive this and get your son through this alive is to calmly allow your son to be tortured right before your eyes and outlast the opposition. That’s what it’s like,’ he stated.

Jeff Younger also said that the little boy does not consider himself a girl and violently refuses to be put into dresses in his house. Furthermore, he has accused the child’s mother of locking James in a bedroom and telling him that ‘monsters only eat boys’. He has also claimed that the mother started manipulating the child’s understanding of his gender when he was as young as three years old.
