A day after the BJP formed government in Maharashtra with support of NCP’s Ajit Pawar, Congress continues to be clueless about what is in store for it during the Supreme Court hearing later today. Following the midnight political coup in Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress filed a joint plea in the Supreme Court challenging the government formation in Maharashtra where Governor Koshyari invited Devendra Fadnavis to form the government.

Even as the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the plea at 11:30 AM today, Congress has no clarity on the matter as of now.

As reported by Times Now, Congress leader Salman Khurshid said that there is no clarity on how the government was formed overnight and the swearing in happened at 8 AM. “That too when there were only 1-2 people from the press present at the swearing in. Why was this needed? Secondly, it is not yet clear how many NCP MLAs are supporting this (government). 8-10 people had gone. And they have come out and said that ‘we did not know where we were going.'” he said.
