West Bengal: After by-poll victory, TMC workers capture 4 BJP offices, paint offices green and resort to vandalism

The recent by-polls in West Bengal had also marred with violence as BJP District President Falguni Patra was attacked and her house and car were vandalised.

After sweeping the by-polls in West Bengal, workers of the Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) have resorted to vandalism as they captured BJP offices in various parts of the state and painted them green.

According to the reports, the TMC workers captured four offices of the BJP in Kankinara, Naihati, Madral and Barrackpore after a victory in the by-polls, the results of which were declared on Thursday.

Reportedly, the ruling party workers also painted the party’s name on the BJP offices and replaced the BJP flags with TMC flag on top of those offices. These attacks on the BJP come after TMC won all the seats in the assembly by-elections in Kaliaganj, Kharagpur Sadar and Karimganj. The celebrations by the TMC workers went overboard as they reached the BJP offices in large numbers and raised slogans.
