The Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai has informed about the health condition of actor Saif Ali Khan who is undergoing treatment there following a knife attack by an intruder at his home.
Dr Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital has informed that the actor has a total of six injuries and two of the injuries are deeper. One of the deep wounds is close to his spine. Another injury is on his neck and that is being evaluated too.
Dr Uttamani also said that there is another injury on #SaifAliKhan's neck and that is also being evaluated. He said that surgery started at 5.30 am and still being done.

Dr Uttamani added that Saif Ali Khan was brought to Lilavati Hospital at 3.30 am and was first administered primary care. He was evaluated by Neurosurgeon Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Leena Jain and anaesthetist Nisha Gandhi. The surgery started at 5.30 am and is still ongoing. The extent of damage can only be ascertained after the surgery is done.
Saif’s family members are at the hospital with him.
Mumbai Police has in the meanwhile stated that the intruder entered the actor’s house in Bandra at around 2.30 am when everyone was sleeping. The suspected motive is robbery and the accused fled the scene after injuring the actor.
