Popular Indian podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia has landed in a world of trouble following his crass remarks on ‘India’s Got Latent’ show, and those troubles don’t look like ending any time soon.
Assam Police has issued fresh summons to Allahbadia and fellow YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, Samay Raina, Apporva Makhija, and Jaspreet Singh in the case, who were also part of the panel on the show.
The decision to summon the panelists of the show was taken after a team of the Assam Police reached Mumbai on Wednesday to investigate the matter. The team reached Mumbai’s Khar police station on Wednesday and met senior police officials, said a PTI report.
Earlier, Guwahati Police had filed an FIR against the 5 panelists of the show on February 10 for promoting obscenity and engaging in sexually explicit and vulgar discussion.
