US President Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum to Hamas, telling them that the ceasefire will be off if all remaining hostages are not released by Saturday noon.

Speaking to media on the night of Monday, February 10, Trump stated that he has seen the footage of the released hostages and they look emaciated and horrible.
“I looked at the hostages… they’re emaciated. It looked like something out of the 1930s. It’s an absolute disgrace. It looked like it was a concentration camp… It looks like they came out of the Holocaust”, he added.
When ask what exactly he meant by ‘hell will break loose”, Trump said, “You will find out. Hamas will find out. These are sick people and they will find out what I mean.”
As of the latest information, Hamas is believed to be still keeping 73 hostages they captured on October 7, 2023. Of these, only 39 are believed to be alive, or, there have been verified signs of life. Others are presumed dead. The ceasefire exchange deal that came into force on January 19, 2025, has seen 21 hostage releases so far.
