Gabbar Singh is a popular fictional dacoit from the film Sholay, played by Amjad Khan. The film also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Hema Malini and Sanjeev Kumar. Of course, this little jibe of Gandhi amused a lot of people.
