Harbhajan sought to give added respect to Kohli by calling him his brother from another mother but a Hindi newspaper made a bit of a mess of his tweet:

As seen in the clipping titled “Bhajji calls Kohli has second mother”, the newspaper stated that many people had wished Virat Kohli a happy birthday but Harbhajan’s wish was bit special, where he called Kohli his brother and second mother.

Soon a twitter user brought it to Harbhajan’s notice:

Harbhajan too decided to have a bit of fun. He sent out a tweet jokingly claiming that the journalist who interpreted his tweet to Hindi was drunk while on job:

This isn’t the only time Harbhajan has grabbed the headlines thanks to his tweets.

In September he had joked about the tax break-up in a GST bill which includes mentioning the component going to the states and the centre:

He was also recently attacked by trolls who had termed him as anti-Sikh for celebrating Karwa Chauth. He, in his responses, had subsequently reprimanded the trolls by asking them not to mislead people in the name of religion.
