Tajinder Bagga, the spokesperson of BJP Delhi has made a name for himself by successfully using social media to promote innovative campaigns.
In January it was reported that Bagga had announced on social media that he had brought a new kurta for Rahul Gandhi, after the latter had tried to generate sympathy for himself after showcasing his torn kurta at an Uttarakhand rally.
He later also put up Manmohan Singh’s ‘magical raincoat’ on sale, after PM Modi made a ‘raincoat remark’ about Manmohan Singh still being considered an honest man despite numerous scams taking place under his watch.
Bagga is in news again for similar reasons after he has taken to twitter to announce his decision to send shoes to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi:

Such a decision of Bagga comes after Pakistan decided to humiliate Kulbhushan Jadhav’s mother and wife, by forcing them to remove their Mangalsutra, bindi, and bangles. Pakistan also decided to heap further troubles on Jadhav’s wife by refusing to return her shoes after the meeting was over.
The Islamic nation decided to create further drama by sending these shoes for a forensic examination as some ‘metallic object’ was apparently found in them.
It seems that this ‘obsession’ of Pakistan with Indian shoes, caught the attention of Bagga, who has now successfully gifted a pair of slippers to Pakistani High Commission. He also requested others to join him on this campaign.

As per Bagga more than 10 twitter users have successfully sent shoes to the Pakistani High Commission and his #JutaBhejoPakistan hashtag too started trending in India.
It remains to be seen as to what the Pakistan High Commission does with all the brand new slippers, and whether they would send them for a forensic analysis to similarly search for presence of foreign objects.
