A Panchkula woman has alleged ‘love jihad’ and has claimed that her husband is forcing her to convert to Islam, as reported by Times Now.

As per Times Now, the accused has been arrested and has been presented in the court following which he has been taken on police remand.
According to report, this is the first such ‘love jihad’ case in Haryana where a Hindu woman has accused her Muslim husband of forceful religious conversion. She has accused her husband of threatening her with ‘talaq’ if she does not convert to Islam. She has also accused him of sharing her private photographs with his friends to defame her. The husband has been reportedly booked under the IT Act and various other acts dealing with fraud. It is reported that the police is investigating the matter.
