Raghav Chadha accessed confidential budget documents to ‘manage’ companies which donate to AAP, alleges Kapil Mishra

Following the cancellation of appointment of nine advisors to Delhi Government by Ministry of Home Affairs saying these posts were not sanctioned, AAP rebel leader Kapil Mishra has accused of a major scam in the appointment of advisors by the Aam Aadmi Party.

In a video released today, Mishra alleged that while Raghav Chadha took up the job of being an advisor at a pay of Re 1 per month, he could have even done the same for free as a volunteer if he really cared so much about the cause. However, with a salary, even if it is Re. 1, Chadha’s name gets into the official government records, giving him access to all official confidential documents pertaining to the Delhi government.

Over and above the fact that he could get all expenses and bills reimbursed, Chadha worked on the Delhi government budget for the two and a half months when he was also the treasurer of Aam Aadmi Party. Mishra alleged that the Chadha didn’t work for ‘free’ but for the privileges, he would get the advisor and access to documents, especially budget documents.

He says Chadha knew which industry would get which tax benefit, leading to share price fluctuations. Chadha was also in charge of getting and keeping a record of the donation received by Aam Aadmi Party and to ‘manage’ the companies which would donate to AAP through the budget.

Mishra accused the appointment as being a big financial crime in Delhi government till date. He claims that Chadha knew and was deciding which industry should benefit in Delhi and which industry should get sops. He says such financial decisions were taken by the man who was the treasurer of Aam Aadmi Party.

On Atishi Marlena, Mishra said, she had no prior experience to influence government policies.
