See what expenses of Arvind Kejriwal are borne by the tax payers

An RTI reply to the query posted by RTI activist Mukund Choudhary says that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is best known for making defamatory statements and then apologising for them, has spent Rs. 1,03,04,162 (over 1 crore) only on refreshments in last 3 years he has been in office.

Interestingly, Kejriwal, who hardly goes to office and snakes mark their presence in the Secretariat in his absence, has spent more money on refreshments at his camp office, which is his office at home, than his office, which would be his official workspace. Even more surprising is the staggering amount spent in refreshment in his office when as per rebel AAP MLA Kapil Mishra, he hardly goes to the office.

The RTI also revealed in the year 2017, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, who at one point wanted to end the VVIP culture too, bought two cars for over Rs. 40 lakh, spending over eighty thousand on accessories. He has also had medical expenses reimbursement of Rs. 1,10,927, Rs. 7,25,699 and Rs. 3,57,605 for the years 2015-15, 2016-17 and 2017-18.

Earlier, too, Arvind Kejriwal, who came to power on the plank of being an ‘aam aadmi’ or a ‘common man’ was under scanner for exorbitant food bills as well as extravagant samosa expenses to the tune of Rs. 1 crore.

That is not all, RTI queries have also revealed how he has sat on an environment cess of Rs. 787 crore and instead of doing his job, bickered with neighbouring states’ chief ministers over Delhi smog.
