‘If it were up to me, I would kill all BJP leaders and go to jail,’ Gujarat Congress MLA’s controversial statement

Gujarat Congress MLA from Vav, Geniben Thakore, recently, while addressing farmers’ gathering said that she is pained by the plight of the farmers and if it were up to her, she would kill them (BJP leaders) and go to jail if it were to come to that.

She can be heard saying that if it benefits the farmers, she is ready to kill them (BJP leaders) and go to jail. That if one has to pick weapons, then Congress leaders are ready to do so.

Geniben was elected in 2017 Gujarat Assembly elections after winning by over 7,000 votes against sitting MLA and former minister in the Rupani government.

This is not the first time a Congress MLA has used foul language. Earlier in May, former Congress MP and currently MLA, Virji Thummar had used choicest abuses for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah. One wonders if Congress President Rahul Gandhi approves of and endorses this language?
