Scratch a self-proclaimed liberal and find a hater who rejoices in the death of someone because their political ideologies differ. And it is not someone who is ‘followed by a leader’ who is rejoicing. It is those who whined about someone who ‘rejoiced’ when a senior journalist was shot dead last year because the PM followed.
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been on life support after his health deteriorated. While many people poured their wishes for his speedy recovery, there were others who scorned and were spiteful of him. While death is inevitable, and all of us must die at some point, to generate so much hate for a 93-year-old breathing his last is rather unfortunate.
