Two suspected ISIS terrorists arrested near Red Fort in Delhi

The Delhi police special cell have arrested two terrorists near the Jama masjid bus stop near red Fort. Acording to reports, the arrested terrorists were going to Kashmir. Weapons including 2 postols and 10 cartriges have been recovered from them.

According to reports, the terrorists allegedly belong to the Islamic State of Jammu and Kashmir. They are reportedly named as Parvez Rashid and Jamshed Jahoor. The duo reportedly hail from Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir.They were arrested late last night. Some media reports have stated that one of their associates was killed earlier.

As per latest reports, the two terrorists have been taken under a 5-day remand by the Delhi police.

The Jammu and Kashmir branch of Islamic State is said to have been activated in recent times and their network and recruitments in India are stated to be on the rise. In 2016, IED blast on Bhopal-Ujjain Express that claimed 10 lives was attributed to ISIS. Since then many  suspects have been arrested. It was also revealed that the ISIS was planning to target Indian Jews living in Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
