Jammu and Kashmir terrorists instructed by ISI to kill Special Police Officers, reveals new intel

A report by Times of India has revealed the reason behind the Indian Foreign Ministry’s decision to cancel the proposed talks with the Pakistani counterpart on the sidelines of the UNGA meet within 24 hours of announcing the talks. According to the report, the new intelligence intercepted by the Indian intelligence was the reason behind the cancellation of the talks.

The TOI reports suggest that the Indian Intelligence had intercepted new intelligence excerpts that were exchanged between Pakistan’s ISI and its terrorist operatives in Kashmir where the ISI had instructed Kashmiri terrorists operating in India to abduct and kill special police officers (SPOs) belonging to the J&K police.

The report says that Pakistan’s ISI has been caught redhanded after its intelligence agency gave specific names and pinpointed directions to its foot soldiers to kill the SPOs as soon as they abduct them. The ISI instructions were as specific such that a civilian who was also abducted was let go on instructions from ISI handlers based in Pakistan. The three SPOs killed have been identified as Nisar Ahmad, Firdous Ahmad and Kulwant Singh. The civilian who was abducted and later freed is the brother of an SPO, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat.

It is being reported that these killings were aimed at creating instability and disturbing the local body elections in the state. Addition to this, the ISI tried to create a fear psychosis in the state of Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the polls and putting the police a step back so that the democratic process is stopped.

After these revelations, the Union government took the evidence on a serious note and decided to take the tough call to cancel the proposed talks with Pakistan.

We had earlier reported regarding the recent killings of the abducted SPOs in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistani terrorist organisation Hizbul Mujahideen had released a video of threatening the officers and asked them from resigning from the police force. It was reported that some people out of fear had resigned from the force, but the MHA later rejected the charges and termed it as propaganda used by them to disrupt the peace in the state.
