UP: Congress working committee member booked for forcing wife to sleep with party leaders

Shan Mohammad, a member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) in Ghaziabad has been accused of forcing his wife to sleep with party leaders to gain favours within the party. According to reports, the victim woman has filed an FIR in Ghaziabad claiming that her husband, who is a CWC member, have been forcing her into sexual relationships with party leaders for years.

The woman has reportedly told media outlets that Shan Mohammad wanted to strengthen his position in the party and to gain favours from party leaders he used to bring them home and force her to sleep with them. The woman has also added that if she refused, Mohammad used to beat her up and had even used electric currents to torture her.

The woman has alleged that the torture has been going on for over four years. Finally, she reportedly mustered courage and went to the police station with her mother to file an FIR against her husband.

The woman has reportedly also alleged she fears mortal danger from her husband and has sought police protection. Shan Mohammad is reportedly a resident of Ghaziabad’s Loni colony.

Ghaziabad police have stated that they are looking into the woman’s complaint and there will be action against the guilty.
