On March 9th 2019, some ISI backed Khalistanis attacked a number of British Indians who were standing outside the Indian High Commission in London. The men wearing Sikh turbans raised slogans ‘Naraa-e-Taqbeer’ and ‘Allah-u-Akbar.

There were also anti-India slogans which were raised by ISI backed Khalistanis and anti-India elements. They then also proceeded to crumble the Indian flag and stomp on it. This “protest” took place in front of the Indian High Commission in London. They were reportedly protesting against “atrocities on ethnic minorities in India”.
In response to this, British Indians had reportedly organised a counter-protest. During the protests, the pro-Pakistan elements attacked the Indian diaspora and injured a few people too.
Members of groups such as the Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council (OPWC) and Sikhs for Justice clashed with counter-protesters from groups including the Friends of India Society, UK, during a demonstration called to protest against “atrocities on ethnic minorities in India”.
Pakistan has long used Khalistanis and Kashmiris to mount a proxy battle against India. Recently, a terrorist had revealed that Pakistan is trying to use pro-Khalistan elements to revive to Khalistan unrest and stoke violence in Punjab. Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu had also posed with Khalistani Gopal Singh Chawla when he travelled to Pakistan for Imran ‘Taliban’ Khan’s swearing-in ceremony. In May 2018, Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed had also held a “convention” where he had used Khalistanis for his anti-India propaganda.
