Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistan violates ceasefire along the LoC, an IED neutralised by the Army in Akhnoor

In a series of unprovoked ceasefire violations along the Line of Control, Pakistan has once again indulged in ceasefire violations in Keri Battal area of Akhnoor, J&K which is being retaliated by the Indian Army.

Another ceasefire violation was reported in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district at around 6:00 p.m.

In another incident, an IED was neutralised by the security forces in Khour area of Akhnoor today.

According to the information given by SSP Jammu, Tejinder Singh, there was information of a suspicious item which was found out to be a IED. The Army was called in and the area was vacated after which the IED was neutralised. An investigation is going on.
