FIR registered after a bunch of people chanted ‘Modi, Modi’ at Digvijaya Singh’s roadshow

In a major embarrassment to Congress, during senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh’s roadshow in Bhopal, pro-Modi slogans were raised by the people.

According to Madhya Pradesh Police’s DIG Irshad Wali, if a rally is passing by and if anyone tries to create a ruckus, they would take action against them.

An FIR has now been registered against a group of people for chanting ‘Modi, Modi’ at the roadshow. According to News18, the police has claimed that Digvijaya Singh and Computer Baba had a permission for the rally, but the group which was standing there chanting pro-Modi slogans did not have the permission and hence that could be considered violation.

As per Republic TV, at least twice Digvijaya Singh’s supporters came across people who chanted pro-Modi slogans against Singh. Meanwhile, the BJP has alleged that posters of Sadhvi Pragya and Amit Shah have been taken down by the Nagar Nigam for the roadshow.
