Karnataka: Cow smuggler dies on the spot after stolen cow hits him in the groin

In a bizarre incident, a cow smuggler was killed by the same cow which he had stolen and had tried to forcefully transport it. The cow smuggler died on the spot after the cow retaliated and hit him in his private parts.

According to the reports, the incident took place in the Hassan district of Karnataka. The deceased identified as Govindappa (50), a resident of Tiptur Taluk of Tumkur district, was a repeat offender and had multiple cases against him in Tumkur and Tiptur for alleged cow smuggling.

The police officials confirmed that Govindappa had stolen the cow near the Appenahalli village of Channarayapatna taluk, Hassan. The police said that he had travelled almost two kilometres after smuggling the cow from a farmhouse and attempted to forcefully transport the cow while the cow hit him back on his private parts leaving him dead on the spot.

A case has been registered in this regard at Nuggehalli police station. The post mortem further confirmed that the accused died on the spot after he was hit on private parts.
