A wet Tuesday is expected at Bristol as per the weather forecast, which means the third wash-out of the current tournament is on its way. The Pakistan-Sri Lanka and South Africa-West Indies match already washed out due to rain.

Both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka won one match each, but Sri Lanka has a better run rate. Sri Lankan team is more vigorous in bowling while Bangladesh has a better batting order.

But Bangladesh looks better on paper, and are favourites to win this contest. A win here will make the team one step closer to the top 4 sides of the tournament. Shakib Al Hasan has done everything right so far in three matches, and the team would be hoping him to click again in this game.

Sri Lanka, with already one match washed out, would like to see a full game happening to secure 2 points. Malinga is in fine form, and he can rip apart any batting line up. The weather condition will also favour the veteran pace bowler who is playing his 4th World Cup.

Players to watch out

Tamim Iqbal has not a great tournament so far. If Bangladesh needs to do well in batting, he has to deliver at the top. He can score quickly, which can make the base for a big total for Bangladesh.

Angelo Matthews, one of the best all-rounder in recent years, hasn’t delivered anything good for Lanka in the previous two games. He must be eagerly waiting to go out and prove his critics that he can still win matches for Sri Lanka.
