Kashmir problem will be solved and no power in the world can stop it: Rajnath Singh

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday asserted that Kashmir problem will be solved and that no power in the world can stop it. The defence minister earlier today paid tributes to the fallen soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War at a war memorial in Drass sector of Jammu at Kashmir on the eve of 20th Anniversary of ‘Operation Vijay.’

Besides, Singh also inaugurated bridges at Ujh in Kathua and Basantar in Samba district constructed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).

“Problem of Kashmir will get solved and no power in the world can stop it. If somebody does not want a solution through talks, then we know very well how a solution can be found,” Singh added while addressing a press conference in Kathua after the inauguration.

“People who are running a movement in Kashmir, if they want a solution through it I appeal to them to at least sit and talk once, to understand what is the issue, what are the problems, so they could be solved together,” he further added.

In response to a question, Singh affirmed there is no doubt the state would be free from terrorism. He further said the world community was getting together to combat terrorism and he believes the world would get rid of the menace.

Singh asked the people to keep faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership when questioned on ceasefire violations. He also asked them to believe in the jawans and officers of the military. “We won’t breach your trust.”

Singh also complimented the BRO for constructing the bridges. “BRO DG said this is the longest bridge to be constructed by the BRO. This bridge will help people in the way they won’t have to travel longer distances. I congratulate the BRO.”
