The Bahrain authorities have taken legal action against Pakistanis who held anti-India protests after the Eid prayers. The protests in Bahrain were held against the Indian government’s decision to abrogate Article 370 in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian government on 5th August abrogated Article 370 that gave separate status to erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the state into union territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. While most people have welcomed the decision, the separatists and the Pakistanis have been opposing the move. A few Congress leaders were also not too happy with the idea of Jammu and Kashmir being fully integrated into India without any terms and conditions and riders attached.
