Cash recovered by IT-department after raids at premises of former Karnataka deputy CM and Congress leader G Parameshwara

Following Income Tax department raids at former Karnataka Deputy CM and Congress leader G Parameshwara’s premises, cash to the tune of Rs 4.52 crore cash has been recovered till now. IT sleuths carried out raids at around 30 premises of former deputy chief minister of Karnataka.

The IT department said that today also the raids will continue at the premises of Siddhartha Medical College in Bengaluru. The college is run by a trust related to G Parameshwara.

The IT raids are also underway at the home of G Parameshwara’s brother’s son, Anand’s house. Residence of his personal assistant Ramesh were also searched. Yesterday, too, the IT department carried out raids at various locations linked to G Parameshwara. As per reports, these raids are in connection with multi-crore tax evasion case linked to NEET exams.
