While Conan, K9 commando who chased down ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi down a tunnel has won hearts, another puppy was left orphaned as the US raid claimed life of his mother.

Fared Alhor, a Syrian activist, shared images on micro-blogging site Twitter of the little puppy looking lost and sad as he moved around in rubble, trying to find his mother.

Four hours after the mission was over, Alhor went to the site and took the little dog to a safe place and put him with a family of puppies and their mother. “He is very happy with his new family,” he tweeted.

The puppy is now named Bobe and netizens have thanked Fared for rescuing the little one.

ISIS chief and one of the most dreaded terrorists, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed on 27th October, 2019 when he detonated a suicide vest after a raid by the US troops. He was buried at sea.
