The Congress party also posed ten questions to the BJP on the matter. Among them were questions such as “Who presented the proposal for government formation?” and “Were the signatures of support verified by the Governor?” Another question that was asked was, “Why has the governor not spelt out by when the Fadnavis government has to prove majority?”

Randeep Surjewala also said that the BJP constituted an ‘illegitimate government’ and acted as a ‘contract killer’ for Democracy. He also claimed that the BJP and Ajit Pawar have acted as the Duryodhana and Shakuni of Maharashtra politics. Conspicuously enough, Surjewala and the Congress party appears to have firm faith in Sharad Pawar, unlike Sanjay Nirupam.
