Operation Kamal is underway in Madhya Pradesh and it appears Shivraj Singh ‘Mamaji’ Chauhan is set to return as Chief Minister in the state. The Congress government is on the verge of collapse as nearly 20 of their MLAs have tendered their resignation from the Assembly.

A day after senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia resigned from primary membership of Congress, the party has ‘expelled’ him. Scindia had tendered his resignation on 9th March, 2020. Earlier on Tuesday, Scindia had met Prime Minister Modi at his residence along with Home Minister Amit Shah. Meanwhile, along with Scindia, numerous other Madhya Pradesh Congress MLAs have tendered their resignation. With this, the Madhya Pradesh state government is on a brink of a collapse.
