Tejashwi’s bungalow is located at Deshratna Marg. The Police is present in heavy numbers. The RJD leader is currently in the capital city. The effort to evict Tejashwi from his government allocated bungalow has turned into a massive political controversy. His appeal is currently pending in the Court. Efforts have been made earlier to evict him from the bungalow and he has been told several times to vacate it.

The Police were greeted with a poster when they reached the bungalow for eviction. The poster stated that the matter is currently being heard in the Court and therefore until a judgment is delivered, no action should be taken by the administration in this regard.

The bungalow was allotted to him when he was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister in the erstwhile Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar. Leaders of the current BJP-JD(U) government in Bihar have asserted that Tejashwi must vacate the bungalow as he is no longer the Deputy CM.

“He must realise that his party is not in the government anymore. He is the leader of the opposition and he must vacate the official bungalow which was allotted to him when he was the deputy CM of Bihar,” building construction department minister Maheshwar Hazari had said last month.
